Designed and developed the corporate website for Cotton Pirates, a Japanese apparel brand that specializes in men’s shirts and has repeatedly ranked No.1 and earned best-seller status in Amazon’s men’s shirt category. The project goal was to build a brand-owned corporate presence that goes beyond marketplace product pages, clearly conveying the philosophy “Dress in Elegance.” and the company’s strengths in OEM production and EC operations.

The site architecture organizes the story into clear sections—Philosophy, Services, E-stores, Topics, and Contact—so visitors can seamlessly follow the journey from brand worldview to concrete offerings and next actions such as visiting EC stores or making business inquiries. In addition to men’s shirts, the content highlights that Cotton Pirates handles a broader lineup of OEM-produced apparel and lifestyle goods, sold through both domestic and international EC markets, positioning the company as a reliable OEM and EC partner rather than a single-product seller.

A key design choice was to make photography the core of the interface, using abundant product and lifestyle images to immerse users in the brand’s elegant, confident atmosphere. Large visuals of shirts, textures, and coordinated looks are placed strategically to communicate quality, silhouette, and comfort at a glance, reinforcing the tagline-level message that Cotton Pirates wants to “bring out the wearer’s charm to the fullest”. This photo-centric approach helps bridge the gap between the rational axis of “Amazon best-seller, high quality, affordable price” and the emotional axis of “a shirt that elevates everyday life.”

From a business perspective, the corporate site is designed as a hub that supports multiple objectives: brand-building for end-users, trust-building for potential OEM partners, and lead generation for companies seeking support in transitioning from traditional retail to digital EC. By integrating a clear narrative around “no physical stores, high-quality factories, and EC-focused operations,” the site communicates how Cotton Pirates can deliver both cost performance and quality, while also signaling that the brand has the operational know-how to support other businesses in similar EC journeys.
